For many transferring to a vehicle's seat means twisting, turning and climbing with high-riding SUVs making it more of a challenge
The D-Tran system simplifies this process with innovative seat swivelling and lowering functions. This system also assists carers to transfer their passengers, making their job much easier and safer.
The swivelling function turns the seat completely out of the vehicle. The seat then lowers to the desired height to give you ample space to transfer. Once seated, the D-Tran will lift you inside the vehicle. In addition, a unique Automatic Tilt option is available to assist those with ability to stand when exiting the vehicle. It is available as fully electric or a mix of electric and mechanical functions and optionally features a unique programmable path function to optimise leg clearance when turning.
The adaptability of the D-Tran means that even SUVs and other high-riding vehicles are now an option.
