A lot of later model vehicles have much deeper sills than vehicles of old, while this is great from a safety prespective the larger gap between your wheelchair and the vehicles seat makes transferring more difficult. The Easy Slider is a great solution for bridging this gap.
The plate is quick release and is easily removed and stored in the vehicle for driving.
Particularly useful for high clearance vehicles such as 4wd's and vans.
The Easy Slider can also be used as an intermediate transfer board for high clearance vehicles. Instead of trying to lift yourself from your wheelchair right up to a tall vehicles seat the Easy slider can be positioned half way between the height of your wheelchair and the vehicles seat.
