Learning how to drive using only your hands to operate the steering, brakes and accelerator is a learning curve in its self
Throw in those high pressure situations like roundabouts and freeway off-ramps when you are required to indicate and use your wipers or horn then you really have your hands full.
PME teamed up with Rashtronics of Israel to develop various methods for applying commonly used secondary functions such as indicators, horn, lights, gear control, power windows and climate control.
These unique devices utilise tone control or voice feedback which can be applied via head rest mounted bump switches. Three tactile 'specs' switches mounted in a retractable headrest, or even your crash-tested power wheelchairs headrest can be applied using the back of your head to precisely control the functions you require whilst on the road.
Further functionally can be added with the Rashtronics In-Motion touch pad. Have features such as gear shifting, power windows, ramp and door access, even climate control at your fingertips in a conveniently located and easy to read touch screen.
