Electronic controls
There are two primary ways to control a vehicle, apart from the standard controls - mechanical modifications or electronic controls. Electronic controls are extremely flexible in terms of the amount of movement needed, the strength required and the placement around the driver.
Electronic controls provide amazing driving capability, even for people with serious disability, and they are getting better every year. PME will even install voice control for selected functions.
Space Drive
The Space Drive is a suite of electronic driving controls that covers all driving functions. Whether a person suffers from high paraplegia, progressive mobility restrictions and/or has low strength or mobility, Space-Drive components can make the impossible, achievable. Read all about it...

Accelerator Ring
The Accelerator Ring is an advanced control driving adaptation. It offers a natural driving position providing easy, controlled acceleration and braking. For many drivers, it provides one of the most satisfying driving experiences available.
Electronic Clutch
The Electronic Clutch modification is for use by disabled drivers who prefer the control offered by a manual transmission but have difficulty operating the clutch pedal. The Device provides the driver with fingertip control of the clutch, removing the need for use of the left leg to perform gear changes.
Electromechanical Gearshift
The modification allows for automatic gearbox control through light contact with a touch-sensor keypad. The keys are back-lit with elevated rims and the device can be freely positioned anywhere to provide ultimate convenience and ease-of-use for the driver.
Electromechanical Handbrake
This modification is appropriate for disabled drivers with impaired hand function who are unable to use a standard format mechanical handbrake. The electromechanical park brake system is operated using a toggle switch fitted to the optimum position for the operator.
