Electromechanical Gear Shift
Gear selection made very, very easy. Changing gears is achieved using a wireless touch pad which can be located to suit the driver. The unit can even be modified to initiate keyless starting of the vehicle.

The modification allows for automatic gearbox control through light contact with a touch-sensor keypad. The keys are back-lit with elevated rims and the device can be freely positioned anywhere to provide ultimate convenience and ease-of-use for the driver. The device can also be programmed to initiate a keyless start.
When the electronic device interacts with the gearbox to initiate a mechanical change the gear shift lever moves to the corresponding position. The lever remains operational so that conventional gear selection can be made if necessary.
These highly adjustable, minimum effort controls can provide the ideal solution to the individual needs of disabled drivers with limited upper body strength. Use of this device is so effortless that even significantly challenged drivers perform gear changes with confidence.
