A joystick for steering, braking and accelerating, a mini steering wheel, an accelerator-brake lever, push buttons for gear selection... These electronic mobility controls make it possible for even the significantly challenged to drive.
The German engineered Space-drive system performs with smoothness and precision that sets the pace internationally. People with disabilities the world over have gained enormous mobility thanks to this beautifully designed suite of electronic controls.
Features
Some of the features of the Space Drive system include:
- Flexibility: Highly adjustable to the personal needs of the user, as well as to any changes in their condition

Joystick
Three models are available;
- 2-way system for steering
- 2-way system for acceleration and braking
- 4-way system for acceleration, braking and steering
Touch Pad Gear Selection
Touch sensors for gear selection in a vehicle with automatic transmission. The device can be programmed to initiate a key-less start. For more information on the touch pad gear selection visit the electromechanical gearshift modification page.
Mini Wheel
Supremely easy to handle, at only 15cm in diameter this device is for people no longer able to turn a normal steering wheel. The Mini-Wheel is extremely accurate as well as being attractively and ergonomically designed. It is designed to easily perform low speed maneuvering and parking as well as high speed turns. It can be installed with optional integrated touch sensors for automatic transmission gear selection and/or an adapted armrest.
Accelerator-Brake Lever
An electronic acceleration and braking system. Simply push forward for acceleration and pull back for brake. It can be programmed to meet the respective needs of the individual in terms of the operating range and strength required.
Secondary Function Touch Pad and Voice Command
Touch sensors for operation of secondary functions including horn, low and high beam headlights and windscreen wipers. The device can also perform a key-less start.
