Custom Indicators

Indicator systems for the individual with particularly unique requirements.

Gallery

PME can design custom systems to allow individuals with particularly unique requirements to indicate. These systems are designed and constructed on an individual basis and therefore differ in their complexity and method of operation. Past systems have involved relocating the indicators to the headrest, custom hand control set-ups and fingertip operated systems.

High involvement situations like freeway exits, round-abouts and merging lanes require a lot of concentration and control, and indicating can be difficult. This modification simplifies indicating to ensure that the driver can accelerate and brake, steer and indicate with confidence and control. Once the maneuver has been made, the indicators switch off; Just like in your original system. A manual canceling button is included for situations such as lane changing.

The device can also be removed without damage and refitted to another vehicle. As a quality Problem Management Engineering product with no moving parts, the device is durable and reliable.

The picture gallery showcases some of the past Custom Indicator Systems created by Problem Management Engineering. These Indicator Systems are generally installed where the disabled driver has impaired hand function or their hands are required to operate other devices, as may be the case with paraplegic, quadriplegic, amputee and hemiplegic drivers for example.
