Orthopaedic Attachments
Orthopaedic Accessories to assist those with limited hand function.

To meet the varying needs of our customers, PME has developed a number of orthopaedic accessories compatible with the Spinmaster’s unique clamshell base.
Available with or without the base, all orthopaedic accessories are interchangeable and feature the ‘quick release’ function so that accessories may be changed if your situation changes, and so that the vehicle may be driven conventionally if necessary.
Orthopaedic Accessories Available:
- C-Bar Spinner – useful for quadriplegics who have a functional wrist and somewhat functional grip
- Quad-Fork Spinner – useful for quadriplegics with at least partial functional use of their wrists and some use of the extensor muscles of the hand. The hand is inserted into the opening at the top of the device and is held in a vertical position
- Tri-pin Spinner – useful for people with quadriplegia who have tensor hand muscle function. The hand and wrist are stabilised and the device prevents the hand pulling out of the device. The hand is free to lift up and out of the device
- Driving Gloves - designed to aid people with impaired wrist and hand function in steering or in use of hand controls. The gloves are custom manufactured to suit the individual’s requirements and can feature a number of different attachments.
- PME Driving Gloves are made from premium leather and several different colours are available.
