Space-Drive Assessments

The Space Drive suite of electronic driving controls has made it possible for many people, even those with serious disabilities, to experience the freedom and independence of driving themselves.

PME can arrange assessments for customers considering a Space-Drive conversion. These assessments are performed by a driving instructor certified in Space-Drive technology.

Space-Drive Assessments are completed in PME’s specially equipped ‘Evaluator 1’, the only vehicle of it's kind in Australia. The 'Evaluator 1' is fitted with all the different controls that are available, such as mini-wheel, accelerator and brake lever and joystick, as well as a set of instructor controls so that your assessor can monitor your actions and take control if you find yourself in a dangerous situation.

For on-road assessments of general vehicle control, PME has access to a HART closed course facility.
