You have the choice of a wide range of input devices
All primary functions such as braking, accelerating and steering can be executed safely and conveniently using the accelerator-brake lever, joystick, tiller steering and mini-steering wheel.The SPACE DRIVE controls have been designed to combine harmoniously and can be positioned anywhere to provide ultimate convenience and ease-of-use for the driver.

INPUT DEVICES
Accelerator-Brake Lever
An electronic slider for acceleration and braking. Simply push forward for acceleration and pull back for brake.
Foot Steering Tiller
For drivers with missing limbs or with no arm function steering can be reliably controlled using the foot steering input device. This allows full electronic control of the steering which can be brogrammed to suit individual drivers.
Mini Wheel
At just 15 cm, the handy, power-adjusted alternative to a standard steering wheel.
Touch Pad Gear Selection
Touch sensors for gear selection in a vehicle with automatic transmission. The device can be programmed to initiate a key-less start. For more information on the touch pad gear selection visit the electromechanical gearshift modification page.
Joystick
Control steering left and right, or accelerator and brake functions, using a two way joystick. Or control steering, accelerator and brakes all together using a four way joystick.
Secondary Function Touch Pad and Voice Command
Touch sensors for operation of secondary functions including horn, low and high beam headlights and windscreen wipers. The device can also perform a key-less start. If necessary, it is also possible to operate secondary functions by voice command.
Tiller Steering
Digital steering using the wrist. Angle of rotation can be adjusted.
Driving Instructors Dual Control Console
For your assurance you are in safe hands when learning to drive using SPACEDRIVE driving controls. The Instructors console allows for full control of the vehicle at the switch of a button, this included brakes, accelerator and steering exclusive to SPACEDRIVE only.
We understand disability and provide that special touch
Driving a car is not all about the steering wheel, pedals and a few other functions like your indicators and wipers. There are loads of other commonly used accessories that can be difficult to access for someone with impaired hand function. That's why we have designed and manufactured a number of solutions to simplify access to these functions.

Whilst occupied with the spacedrive controls its not recommended removing your hands from the input devices. For that reason we've designed and manufactured a remote powered sunvisor, the first of its kind in this industry.
