The bus has come a long way, many changes have been made over the last few years and the project is nearing completion.
For those unaware, the bus was originally built for 500km 4x4 outback tours of Queensland. After many years of wear and tear the 'RFW Bigfoot' was decommissioned. PME however have taken up the challenge of restoring this old glory to its former beauty.
These days the Bigfoot is stored out at PME being worked on diligently by the guys in a desire for its completion. It has been stripped back to its bare essentials and rust and surface damage has been restored to the frame and roof. Body panels have been replaced and a massive paint job is currently underway. The project has been a long haul but we are starting to see results of 5 years of hard work and dedication from PME.
The bus can be seen throughout the week at the PME workshop. Be sure to check out our news section and facebook page (facebook.com/PMEAutoConversions) for further updates in the coming months.
